Country of origin: Bulgaria
Product description:
With a freshly herbaceous, sweetly floral, and somewhat camphoraceous fragrance, Lavender Organic Essential Oil leaves behind an alluring mellow scent trail that is known to carry with it slightly fruity nuances. These soothing distinctions make Lavender Oil blend well with essential oils that are known to exude floral, citrus, and herbaceous scents, such as Ylang-Ylang, Jasmine, Orange, Lemon, Clary Sage, and Thyme. This smooth and warm aroma is said to soothe nervous tension as well as other physical and emotional stresses, such as those that may lead to migraines, insomnia, and anxiety. It is also reputed to protect the body against harmful airborne microbes, thus helping to reduce symptoms of common colds and the flu.
If you’re looking to soothe topical irritation, infections, burns, aches, stiffness, abrasions, and various symptoms of skin ailments, Lavender is a popular natural therapy that is also known to promote easier breathing, uplift negative moods, and pacify the body to reduce stress, palpitations, spasms, and cramps. Its comforting scent is beneficial for diffusing during long travels, studying, or on any other occasion when the concentration is required for extended periods of time, as it is known to diminish feelings of fatigue and restlessness.
Quick and easy recipes:
Massage blend: For a massage oil blend that is reputed to soothe injuries as well as sore, tight, and aching muscles, dilute 5 drops of Lavender Essential Oil in 10 ml (0.33 oz.) of a carrier oil before applying it to the affected or preferred areas, such as the arms, legs, and back. This blend may also be applied to the belly to ease stomach aches or to the chest to ease headaches and migraines.
For a simpler blend, mix 4 drops of Anise Star Essential Oil with equal parts of a carrier oil of personal preference, and massage this into the preferred or affected areas of the body to soothe pain, prevent sepsis in wounds, stimulate the appetite, ease nervousness, arouse a sensual mood, detoxify, or prevent and soothe insect bites.
Diffuser blend: For an aromatherapy recipe that is reputed to enhance immunity, especially at times when cold symptoms are beginning to manifest, simply dilute 6-8 drops of Lavender Essential Oil and add it to a diffuser of personal preference. This can be diffused in a living room or a bedroom to promote relaxation and encourage restful sleep.
Bath blend: For a bath oil that is reputed to ease stress and to release discomfort in the muscles, dilute 6-8 drops of Lavender Essential Oil in a carrier oil and ½ cup of Epsom Salts. Add the final blend to a warm bath and soak for 10 minutes.
