Quick and easy recipes:
Massage blend: It is believed that a massage with Turmeric Oil can potentially help ease soreness and stiffness. In addition, it has the believed ability to reduce the appearance of unwanted blemishes and to eliminate harmful bacteria on the skin's surface. For a comforting massage experience, dilute 7 drops of Turmeric Essential Oil in 2 Tbsp of a preferred Carrier Oil – suggested oils include Almond Sweet and Jojoba – and apply the blend to affected areas up to two times daily. For a more complex blend, add a total of 6 drops of Essential Oils that are known to have invigorating effects on the skin, such as Peppermint.
Diffuser blend: For an aromatherapy experience that is reputed to encourage feelings of deep rest and refreshment, add 5 drops of Turmeric Essential Oil to a diffuser. For enhanced effectiveness, combine it with a total of 5 drops of Essential Oils that are known to have grounding, centering, uplifting, and energizing qualities. Blends like these are thought to help calm and clear a restless mind. Diffusing 2 drops of Turmeric in a bowl of steaming water and inhaling it for 5-10 minutes is said to support respiratory function by helping clear congestion. When combined with herbaceous oils, Turmeric Oil is believed to strengthen concentration, cognitive function, and memory recall.
Bath blend: For a bath that is believed to help improve discomfort caused by swelling and stiffness, whether the cause is exercise or digestive disturbances, and to support the look of healthier skin, first combine 1 cup each of Sea Salts and Epsom Salts in a glass bowl. To this, add ¼ cup of Baking Soda and 60 ml of 1-2 preferred Carrier Oils. Next, add 3 drops of Turmeric Essential Oil. Thoroughly combine all the ingredients, then spoon ¼ -1 cup of the bath blend into a full bathtub of warm water. Before entering the bath, ensure that the salts have completely dissolved. This application is also said to be beneficial for supporting digestive function.
