Product description:
Rosemary Essential Oil is derived from the herb and exudes a strong scent that is both woody and herbal but fresh, blending well with other essential oils that have herbaceous or citrus aromas, such as Cedarwood, Peppermint, Basil, Bergamot, Lemon, and Orange.
Traditional uses for Rosemary included air purification, an application that remains popular today in the form of aromatherapy, especially for stress relief, for enhancing immune function, and for soothing congestion as well as other respiratory ailments and discomforts. Its pain-reducing qualities have made Rosemary Oil popular for addressing muscular aches, joint pain, and headaches. Need to facilitate internal body cleansing? Rosemary Oil’s aroma is reputed to help ease metabolic processes and digestive function, which helps eliminate or even reduce bloating, flatulence, cramps, and constipation, thus helping to expel bodily pollutants. To increase the appetite, diffuse this stimulating oil before or during meal times!
Quick and easy recipes:
Massage blend: To create a massage blend that soothes aches and pains while enhancing circulation and strengthening immunity, dilute 10-12 drops Rosemary Oil in 30 ml (1 oz.) of a preferred carrier oil, then pour the blend into a dark glass bottle. This can be massaged into affected areas. To enhance concentration, a small amount may be massaged into the back of the neck or into the temples. Alternatively, Rosemary Oil may be blended with other essential oils that are known to have invigorating, clarifying properties that enhance focus, such as an oil from the Mint family.
Diffuser blend: For a refreshing, energizing, and anti-microbial diffuser recipe with multiple other benefits, add 1-2 drops of Rosemary Oil to a diffuser of personal preference. This helps to soothe a sore throat, clear congestion, reduce coughing, promote easier respiration, ease a headache, protect against infection, and even have a calming effect on aggressive moods. When the scent of this clarifying oil is diffused, it is reputed to sharpen mental clarity, improve information retention and memory recall, and encourage creativity. Alternatively, Rosemary may be combined with other essential oils that are known for having focus-enhancing effects, such as Lemon.
Bath blend: For a circulation-stimulating, energizing bath blend that helps energize the body, reduce pain, and improve skin health, dilute 2-3 drops of Rosemary Oil in 1 tablespoon of a preferred carrier oil and ½ cup of Epsom Salts, then add the blend to a warm bath. Before entering the bath, ensure that the salts have completely dissolved. Alternatively, other energizing oils, such as citrus oils, may be added to this blend.
